Cause and treatment method of high current of centrifugal pump

1. Process medium relative density and viscosity index:  

 Processing method: check the material component to make its viscosity and relative density and design value is in line with the process operator to adjust  

2. Electrical failure  :

 Processing method: check the circuit breaker heater setting value, check the voltage, three-phase current should be balanced, the error is not greater than 3%  

3. When the pump starts, the outlet valve is open, the resistance in the outlet pipe is too small :

Processing method: the outlet valve is closed, the pump starts slowly open the outlet valve .

4. Balance tube is not smooth : 

Processing method: clear the balance tube  

5. Pump assembly is not good, static and dynamic part of the friction or stuck : 

Treatment method: to pump the assembly, check the fit clearance, bearing clearance, mechanical seal, and so on, and strictly according to the design requirements to adjust .
